Dear Client,
Thank you for engaging our in representing you in your wrongful termination claims against your former employer. To make our work more effective and this process less stressful, please review and follow a few tips below:
* The best way to communicate with us is by e-mail. If you have any questions or if you have anything that you would like to bring to our attention in relation to your, please e-mail that information to us. We will always get back to you within 2 business days. Please do the same. If you have any urgent concerns, feel free to call us. However, receiving e-mails instead allows us to keep better track of our communication and of any additional important information relating to your case.
* There will likely be periods when we will have no updates for you on your case for months. Be assured that neither we nor the court has forgotten about you. This process takes time, and often the employer and their attorneys have no incentive to move the case forward until the court starts setting status conferences and issues a trial date. You are welcome to check on the status of your case by e-mailing us and we will be happy to update you, but it's not necessary. We will always update you if we have any developments on your case on our side.
* Make sure that you keep track of all your job search efforts. Keep a log where you would enter where and when you applied and for what position. Keep copies of all written job applications, responses, and rejections letters you receive from potential employers. Keep track of any job interviews your have had and any job offers you received.
* Please notify us as soon as you find a new job. As soon as you obtain new employment, please let us know and provide the date you start working, your title, compensation and name of employer.
* Notify us of any useful witnesses to proving your case. If at any time you can think of any witnesses to any events relevant to proving your case, that you believe would be willing to talk to us, please let us know.
* Notify us of any new facts that might present additional challenges in proving your case. If at any point, you think of any fact or document that you believe can present an obstacle in proving your case, please let us know. The fewer surprise we have, the better we will be able to represent you.
Thank you and we look forward to working with you.
